On the 21st of October The Environmental Inovative Technologies conference took place in Timișoara. The conference was organised by Plattform Umwelttechnik Baden Wurtenberg and hosted by „Green UVT” Sustainability Excellence Center of The West University of Timișoara

Representatives of businesses, NGOs, local authorities and academics from Germany and Romania have discussed topics related to green energy, green entrepreneurship, water management, education for innovation and sustainable development.

The main aim of the conference was to identify the collaboration and exchange possibilities between partners to promote green technologies and tackle the economic and societal issues.

On behalf of The West University of Timișoara, Professor dr. Nicoleta Sîrghi, Professor dr. Liliana Donath and dr. Alexandra Petcu have presented the objectives and activities of the Sustainability Excellence Center founded with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme – Strategic Partnership, Project nr: 2018-1-RO01-KA204-049253, Teaching and Educating for Sustainability-TeachSUS.
